Town of Ellicott
The Town provides public access to records in accordance with the NY State Freedom of Information Law (FOIL).
Requests for records should be directed to the Town Clerk preferably using the “Application For Public Access to Records” which can be obtained here or in the Town Clerk’s office. Signed written requests may be accepted.
The Town Clerk has 120 hours (5 days) to respond to a written FOIL request. Easily accessible records can usually be obtained within several days. More comprehensive requests may take up to a month. Copies of accessible records will be made available for $.25 per page.

official newspaper of the Town of Ellicott: The Jamestown
Post-Journal.
They
are normally published at least 10 days before a Public Hearing or Bid Opening.
